A BIT ABOUT RODING PROBUS

RODING PROBUS, as with all those using the Probus name, is a self-administrating, autonomous social group. You can read more about Probus nationally and internationally here.     We are probably best described as an association of mostly semi-retired or retired businessmen who come together in a non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit, autonomous club providing regular opportunities for members to meet others in similar circumstances, with similar levels of interest, make new friends, and maintain and expand their interests. Although Probus Clubs can be made up of men, women or be mixed (men and women) clubs, the choice of Roding Probus is to meet monthly as a male-only luncheon club but spouses/partners of club members and widows of former members are encouraged to participate in the social activities.

Our regular activity is to meet for lunch on the Second Wednesday of each month in agreeable surroundings.

We have an Annual General Meeting at which we elect a Chairman and Officers and review our finances and programmes of meetings and events for the coming year
